Step-by-Step Guide
View Your Dashboard
After setup, the home page shows your personal dashboard — a real-time overview of your entire portfolio:
- Hero card (top): Total Capital across all accounts, trading signal lights (market and volatility signals), account status at a glance, and risk bar.
- Accounts table: Balance, positions, leverage, cash, unrealized & realized P&L, and concentration per account — expandable.
- P&L charts: Weekly bars for the last 14 weeks, asset type breakdown, and portfolio curve as interactive SVG charts.
- Tabs below: Open positions · Strategies · Signals
10. Understanding the Mobile View
• Top left: Hamburger menu (☰) — here you find all icons from the desktop header: portfolio bell, community bell, eye toggle (balance on/off), dark/light mode, page help, profile menu.
• Top right: Search icon 🔍 — opens Global Search as an overlay.
• Side menu via swipe or through the hamburger.
This keeps the view clean without losing any functionality.
11. Markets
A market is what you trade — e.g. Apple stock (symbol: AAPL), gold, or EUR/USD. You do not need to add markets manually — they are created automatically when trades are imported.
12. ⚠️ My First Trade Is Missing from the Import
This is the most common beginner problem — and usually easy to fix. Here is the debug flow:
- Is the trade within the imported date range? Interactive Brokers Flex Query fetches the last 365 days by default. Older trades require a separate one-time XML import.
- Was the Flex Query re-run after the trade? Imports are snapshots. New trades after the last import must be fetched again via the sync button: Accounts → IBKR → Flex Sync.
- Correct account selected? With multiple broker accounts a trade may land in a different account. Check the filter at the top of the tradelog.
- Cancelled or rejected orders? These do not appear in the import — they have status CANCELLED at IBKR and are intentionally ignored.
- Trade Republic / CSV import: If you imported via CSV, check whether the column mapping is correct. A single wrong header can swallow entire trades.
13. Multiple Accounts
• Have multiple portfolios with different brokers
• Manage a personal and a corporate account
• Want to keep paper trading and live trading separate
All accounts are combined on the dashboard.
