⚠️ Important: Your broker must already be connected and trades imported.

The tag import matches each CSV row by symbol + open date against your existing trades. Without imported trades — no match, empty preview, no tags.

If you haven't connected your broker yet, go here: Ch. 2.1 Interactive Brokers · Ch. 2.2 Trade Republic · Ch. 2.4 Other Brokers

3. Oraya Giden 3 Adım

Step 1

Pack Up

Open your trade overview in TradingLogbook. Ctrl+A (select all) → Ctrl+C (copy). Paste into Excel or Google Sheets and all your entries land cleanly in the spreadsheet.

Step 2

Label It

In your Excel/Sheets file you need three columns: Symbol, Opened (date) and Tags. Does TradingLogbook use different headers? Aliases like Underlying, Ticker, Date, Label are recognized automatically. Then File → Save As → CSV (comma-delimited).

Step 3

Unpack

Open your Tradelog in sTraderZ.com. Top right you'll find the 🏷️ Import Tags button. Drop in your CSV, click 🔍 Preview — you'll see which trades were matched (green) and which new tags will be created. Everything looks good? Click 📥 Import. Done.

4. CSV Formatı — Siyah Üzerine Beyaz

Three columns. Nothing more.

ColumnAccepted Aliases
SymbolSymbol Underlying Ticker
Opened (open date)Opened Date Eröffnet
TagsTag Tags Label
Symbol,Opened,Tags
AAPL,2024-01-15,Win
TSLA,2024-01-18,Loss;Learning
SPY,2024-01-20,Breakout

💡 Multiple tags per trade? Separate with semicolons: Loss;Learning.

5. Sık Sorulan Sorular

What happens if a symbol is not found?
The row is highlighted orange in the preview (? status) and skipped during import. No data loss, no error message. You can correct the symbol name in the CSV (e.g. capitalization, ticker format) and re-import the file.
What if my tag doesn't exist in sTraderZ.com yet?
It's created automatically — visible in the preview with a marker. Default color: neutral grey. You can recolor or rename the tag later under Settings → Tags.
What if I import the same trade twice?
No duplicate issue: identical tag assignments are not stored twice. Only truly new combinations are added to the trade.
Can I undo the import?
The tag import doesn't create trades — it only sets tag assignments. A wrongly assigned tag can be removed at any time in the tradelog via bulk edit or directly on the individual trade. A dedicated "Undo Last Import" button doesn't exist (yet) — but the risk is low because you can review and deselect each row individually in the preview.
Does this also work with Tradersync, Tradervue, Edgewonk …?
Yes. The import is generic: as long as your CSV contains the three columns (Symbol, Opened, Tags or their aliases), the source doesn't matter. TradingLogbook is just the most common case for German-speaking traders.
